Almudena Justo

As Director of the Fsas International Quantum Center (Fujitsu)—launched in collaboration with Cesga to advance Fujitsu’s Quantum business in Spain and Europe—Almudena Justo leads strategic quantum and advanced computing business opportunities with customers in Spain and Europe... while also managing the center's technical and commercial teams. She represents Fujitsu in the World Economic Forum Quantum Network and serves as an external expert for the European Commission (EC) and the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) on business creation. Her international experience includes stays at the London School of Economics, the Coller Institute at Tel Aviv University, and the Spanish Office for Science and Technology in Brussels. With extensive expertise in executive leadership, business development, and strategic & innovation consulting, she is recognized for her deep understanding of European R&D and innovation public funding policies. Almudena has successfully led a range of public–private digital transformation initiatives at the European level, including smart city initiatives and the implementation of low emission zones, the digital transformation of the water sector, etc.
